Introduction

The Low Power RF Solutions Workshop is designed to accelerate the time to market for engineers working with TI's four wireless networking protocols; SimpliciTI, TI-MAC, Zigbee, and Z-Accel.

Attendees can choose to attend the first 2 days of the workshop that covers only the SimpliciTI portion of the workshop. Those attending the 2 day class will take home the eZ430-RF2500 development kit. [1]

Or you can choose to attend the entire 4 day workshop which adds the 802.15.4 protocols (TI-MAC, Zigbee, Z-Accel) and take home the eZ430-RF2480 development kit. [2]

Running The Labs

Since the workshop cover several different protocols, the hardware and software requirements to run all the labs is fairly extensive. On the other hand, if you are primarily interested in just one of the protocols, the needs are more modest. The following list breaks the lab requirements (that are also listed in the material before every lab) down by module.

Download the SimpliciTI (and earlier) lab files here EZ430RF.zip This zipped folder should replace the folder at: C:\Texas Instruments\SimpliciTI-1.0.6\Projects\Examples\Peer applications\eZ430RF If you are using a later version of the SimpliciTI stack, just alter the path to accomodate.
